Sales Executive

Location: Rijnlanderweg 766, Unit F, Hoofddorp

Reports to: Trading Director

ABOUT US & THE ROLE:
SIAN Wholesale Ltd is one of the leading wholesalers of fast-moving, well known branded consumer goods in the categories of toiletries, health and beauty, pharmaceutical and grocery. Clients include many of the leading supermarket chains, high street retailers, discount stores, pharmacy groups, online and everything in between. 
The role is fast paced with responsibilities that include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. 

ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for a driven and determined individual with brilliant attitude and work ethic.
You will need to have superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers. 

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
•    Making high volume phone calls in to a current customer database, with a mixture of new, lapsed, warm and existing business selling stock from our stock floor as well as working on promotional pricing and activity supplied by the buying team and found on Microsoft Navision (Nav)
•    Analysing the Nav live offers database to quote customer’s looking for requests 
•    Taking consistent and regular orders and building great relations with customers
•    Manage the sales of goods from the initial “Offer” through to the final delivery, working with our Operations, Finance, Warehouse and Commercial teams throughout
•    Calling lapsed accounts to understand how they can be turned back in to active customers
•    Develop a strategic approach for identifying new business opportunities 
•    Discussing and presenting over the phone or by video calls, new products, due in stock and promotions as well as gaining incremental sales
•    Submitting activity and results reports, such as daily catch up, weekly plans, and monthly and annual analysis
•    Working on frequent email mail merges sending out the SIAN Wholesale stock lists and offers 
•    Running sales reports of customer analysis and securing repeat and regular orders
•    Support the growth of the business by stepping forward with improvement ideas and requirements
•    Perform other duties as required

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL REQUIRE TO HAVE:

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
•    1+ years sales experience 
•    Wholesale sales experience will be an advantage 
•    Knowledge of International trade/logistics will be an advantage
•    Previous experience with Sage, NAV or any other ERP systems would be an advantage

SKILLS:
•    Fluent in English (written and spoken)
•    Fluent in any other languages such as Dutch, French, Spanish, German
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
•    Be great at prioritising and working to strict deadlines
•    Have strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
•    Be an excellent communicator and reliable
•    Be resilient, assertive, optimistic and open to change with the ability to work under pressure

PACKAGE OFFERED:
•    1-year fixed term contract with a view to permanent employment        
•    Competitive salary offered subject to experience + Uncapped commission 
•    Opportunity for hybrid working after a successful training period 
•    20 days holiday (pro-rata)
•    Travel allowance €0.21 p/km (up to 30 Km per day)
