Usage
Preparation And Usage
Directions for Use:
Limescale removal
Kettles: Fill the kettle halfway with water and allow to boil. Unplug the kettle and add 2 scoops of Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid. Leave for 10 minutes to work. Empty kettle and rinse thoroughly before use.
Coffee Machines: Half fill the water reservoir. Add 2 scoops of Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid. Turn on the machine and allow to filter through.
Steam Irons: Turn on the iron and when hot turn off. Add 2 scoops of Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid to the water reservoir and top up with water. Turn the iron on and set to steam function. Allow the water in the reservoir to drain through the iron over a sink.
Shower Head: Remove the shower head and place in a suitable container. Add 2 scoops of Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid to 1 litre of hot water. Allow to soak for 10 minutes. Replace the shower head and turn shower on full power to clear.
Degreasing: Fill the pot / pan with boiling water. Add 2 scoops of Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse well before use.
Rust Removal: Sprinkle Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid on a damp sponge and scrub. Repeat if necessary. Or, fill a plastic tub with hot water. Add 2 scoops and mix well. Add object and scrub with a scouring pad. Leave for around 30 minutes and scrub again. Repeat if required.
Elbow GreaseĀ® Citric Acid.can be used with Elbow GreaseĀ® Concentrated White Vinegar and water for a powerful multipurpose cleaner for stubborn stains.
To keep your appliances performing as they should, treat them once every 3 months in hard water areas and once every six months in soft water areas.
Do Not use on acid senstive surfaces such as, marble limestone, aluminium and enamel. Always test on an inconspicuous area before use. When used on surfaces in contact with food, rinse well with water.
